Case Study: Making sense of device lifecycles in an Enterprise
The opportunity
A group of Product Owners from multiple organizations sought out better ways to tell the intricate story of how a device lifecycles in their environment so that management and stakeholders understood the complexity and status of work in progress.
My Roles
As a Strategist, I worked with the Product Owners in group meetings and one on one to understand what they needed to communicate.
As a Visual Designer, I prototyped various formats for the visuals and worked with Product Owners to get consensus and leveraged the companies brand library. I built the visual assets in Adobe Illustrator and segmented them out to use in Powerpoint.
As a Presentation designer and coach, I built the Powerpoint deck and coached the presenters on the speaking points and choreography.
Here is the visual story:

The step by step slides form the powerpoint deck. Each slide had a different speaker who highlighted core work in the phase of the process.
Outcomes
- High audience engagement as evidenced by Q and A, and Chat commentary throughout
- This visual format is widely adopted for Quarterly Business Reviews and other presentations
- Other leaders engaged me so that they could improve their visual storytelling with my consultation
- Created and delivered Illustrator files, powerpoint deck, and icon assets
This is the Gold Standard of how these business reviews should be presented - General Manager, Global Digital Services
